2. Promenade du Paillon

The Promenade du Paillon, or Coulée verte (“Green corridor”) is a place which is very appreciated by the inhabitants from Nice as by the tourists. It extends over 1.2km between the Place Massena and the National Theatre of Nice. It bears the name of the river that flowed there before being covered, during the 19th century, to make the city cleaner.
