Day 1: discover the best viewpoints of Nice
After a dreamy night in the ultra-comfortable bed of your room at the Best Western Hotel Lakmi, have a gourmet breakfast at the hotel's buffet to fill up your strength for the superb day ahead.
Step number 1: discover the authentic Old Nice starting with the market on the Cours Saleya. Let yourself be carried away by the scents and colors of the famous flower market, present every day except Monday on the Cours Saleya. Discover also the local producers and craftsmen who exhibit every day at the market. Then continue your visit by strolling through the colorful streets of Old Nice. A paradise for gourmets and local craftsmen, you will find in the old town all kinds of stores 100% from Nice. Take a break at Place Rossetti before continuing your visit. Take advantage of being in Old Nice to buy lunch and let yourself be tempted by the best Nice specialties: socca, pissaladière, pan bagnat...
Step number 2: Head to the Colline du Château for a picnic with a view! After having refueled yourself with delicious Nice specialties, go up to the Colline du Château park for a quiet lunch with a view of the Port of Nice or the sublime Baie des Anges. Once finished, go down to the Port of Nice via the Rauba Capeu quay to admire once again the view of the Promenade des Anglais. Admire the famous colored "pointus" of the port and for the more adventurous, join the coastal path for a walk along the seaside with postcard landscapes.
Step number 3 : Back on the Promenade des Anglais to admire the sunset from the pebble beach. We never get tired of it!
Last step: Direction the Liberation district, only 2 streetcar stops from the Best Western Hotel Lakmi, and more precisely direction the Gare du Sud. Contrary to what its name indicates, the Gare du Sud is a well-known food hall in Nice. Start with an aperitif and finish your evening there, all in a good mood!
