Nice Carnival 2018 program

The Nice Carnival returns in 2018 for two weeks of joy and celebration. Come to live this experience in family at the Hotel Brice Garden Nice, where the staff will provide you a disguised and friendly welcome. Based on the starry theme of space, discover the 2018 program of the Nice Carnival which takes place a few minutes’ walk from your hotel in the center of Nice.

2018 Nice Carnival program: King of Space Edition

From February 17th till March 3rd, 2018, the festivities alternate between 3 categories of spectacular events based around the theme of space:

• Carnival Parade - Parada Nissarda

> Sunday 25th February at 2.30 pm

18 floats decorated on the theme of space parade along the Place Masséna and through the Albert 1st Garden. Accompanied by music groups and street artists from around the world, the Nice Carnival Parade is a colorful show. Coils, confetti, spectacles, atmosphere, everything is reunited for this moment to be successful.

• Illuminated Carnival Parade:

> Tuesday 20th and 27th February
> Saturday 17th and 24th February and Saturday 3rd March, at 9pm

In the evening, the floats are illuminated, and the visual animations make shine the center of Nice and the Place Masséna of a thousand lights! Saturday, March 3rd for the last illuminated Carnival Parade of the 2018 edition the King and his float are cremated on Place Masséna.

• Battle of Flowers:

> Saturday February 17th and 24th
> Wednesdays February 21st and 28th, and Carnival Closing Day on Saturday, March 3rd.

It is the centerpiece of the Carnival of Nice, a unique show in the world that has made the international fame of the Carnival. Models are placed on the floats and throw flowers from local production such as mimosa to the crowd. In an atmosphere of joy and celebration, lend yourself to the game with all your family and the rest of the spectators! This event takes place during afternoon at 2.30pm.
